Help Scout Brand
Help Scout makes excellent service and customer support achievable for companies of all sizes. Over 8,000 teams around the world use the product to serve their customers on a personal level. I worked alongside the brand team to help develop a fresh visual identity, including a new logo mark and visual language elements.
During the logo development phase, we had to ask ourselves a lot of questions. "Does this concept portray our core values, and connect with our brand?" "Should the mark symbolize our products?" "Does this icon look like a logo for a landscaping company?" We considered every facet of the company, and how we viewed it, and how it was viewed by our customers. We thought about longetivity, and stayed aware of trends. Throughtout the process, we questioned whether or not the mark should be abstract, literal, or even simply an element lifted from the existing mark, which was a laurel. We wanted it to be fresh and new, but still maintain a strong brand connection.
After months of exploration and countless concepts, we came up for air with an abstract mark that was engaging, felt on brand, and resonated immediately with the team. The three swift lines reflect the company's three core values, three products, and subtly allude to an "H" and an "S". They are Help Scout.
